Training · Built by a working PR firm · Under the PRSA Code of Ethics

The training that matters most for AI communications professionals.

AI did not give communications professionals a new set of tools. It changed the era we operate in — what audiences see, what they trust, what they remember, what gets seen at all. AI Comms Academy's Leading Edge programs were built for that change: taught by senior practitioners at a working PR firm, grounded in twenty-five years of communication science research, structured around the PRSA Code of Ethics, and tool-agnostic by design.

Why this exists

Public relations has changed.

The way audiences receive information, the way information itself is generated, the way a brand's story reaches the people it's meant to reach — all of it now moves through AI systems that did not exist three years ago. We are in the Intelligence Era.

This is the most consequential shift our profession has seen in a generation. It is also one of the most dangerous to navigate alone. Firms that move too slowly lose margin and relevance. Firms that move too quickly — without structure, without ethics, without craft — put their reputations, their clients, and their teams at risk.

These programs were built for the firms that want neither. Not cautious stagnation. Not reckless acceleration. The leading edge.

The pattern we see

Most agencies are caught in the messy middle.

Experimenting with AI, subscribing to more tools, generating more output — but margins aren't moving, teams are more fragmented, and a growing share of the work going to clients looks indistinguishable from what every other firm is producing.

The problem isn't the technology. It's that AI got layered on top of the old agency operating model instead of being used to rebuild it — and nobody taught the team how to be the conductors rather than the instrumentalists.

What makes this different

Built where the work actually happens.

Most AI training for communicators is taught by technologists. This one isn't.

01

A real PR firm, teaching what we've actually done.

AI Comms Academy is a working public relations agency. We bill real clients, manage real revenue, and operate under the PRSA Code of Ethics. Every framework in these programs has been built and tested inside the agency with real consequences — not theorized in a classroom or sold by a software vendor.

02

Grounded in the PRSA Code of Ethics.

AI is new. The standards of our profession are not. The programs are structured around the six provisions of the PRSA Code — honesty, advocacy, expertise, independence, loyalty, fairness. Ethics is not a sidebar session. It is the operating frame of the entire experience.

03

Tool-agnostic, by design.

AI Comms Academy does not sell GPTs. We don't resell software. We take no affiliate commissions from any AI platform. When we tell you what to use and how, you can trust the reason — the recommendations reflect what has actually worked in our agency, not what pays us to recommend it.

04

Grounded in PR 3.0 and the science of communication.

Led by Elizabeth Edwards — author of the PR 3.0 framework and the Affective Intelligence framework, the science of how communication actually changes human state. Participants leave understanding not just how to use AI tools, but why the profession has shifted, what the new stakes are, and how to lead within them.

We are not a tech company teaching PR. We are a tech PR firm — running real client work — that transformed its own operation with AI and is showing other agencies exactly how we did it.

Measured in our own agency 100–500%
Individual productivity lift — documented across AI Comms Academy's own team as we built and refined these systems.

Every team member becomes the functional equivalent of three to five people.

When AI Comms Academy implemented these systems across our own agency, individual team members became between 100% and 500% more productive — producing billable, high-quality, client-ready work in a fraction of the time.

For a mid-sized PR agency, that's the functional equivalent of expanding headcount by several people — without the payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, or management overhead.

The question isn't whether this program is worth its investment. It's whether your firm can afford to be a year — or three — behind the agencies that implement now.

Two programs · One body of work

Pick the Leading Edge program built for where you sit.

AI Comms Academy delivers the same body of work through two distinct programs — one engineered for the working PR or communications agency, one engineered for the in-house communicator, the marketing team, the public information officer, the founder, and the individual professional. Same intellectual foundation. Same teacher. Different applications, formats, and outcomes.

The Founding Cohort

Enroll now. Help us shape it.

The first wave of Leading Edge participants will not just take the program. They will shape it — providing the case studies, testimonials, and curriculum feedback that define how this body of work scales across our profession. In exchange, they receive a meaningful discount and recognition that compounds across their careers.

Enrollment window May — June 30, 2026 After this date, pricing returns to full list. No extensions.

This is the only time you will see the program at this price. The Founding Cohort discount is 20% off any seat tier — stackable separately from bundle pricing, and offered with our explicit thanks to the agencies and communicators who choose to move first.

Founding Cohort members receive.

  • 20% off any tier. Apply to Individual, Team Bundle, Department, or Enterprise pricing.
  • Lifetime pricing protection. If you re-engage for a future AI Comms Academy program, you re-enroll at Founding Cohort rates — permanently.
  • Founding Cohort designation. Recognized in our public materials, case studies, and any future publishing of this body of work.
  • Direct curriculum input. A dedicated feedback channel to Elizabeth and the AI Comms Academy team, shaping how Cohort 2 and Cohort 3 are built.
  • Showcase access. Invitation to participate in AI Comms Academy's 2026 showcase session at PRSA ICON or equivalent industry venue.
The trade

Founding members agree to provide detailed program feedback, supply a testimonial or case study at completion, and participate in one showcase session within twelve months of completing the program. This is the work of building the field.

The shared foundation

One body of work. Six things every participant leaves with.

Whether you arrive as an agency leader or a solo communicator, the foundation is the same. The training is built on a single body of work — developed inside a working PR firm, refined across twenty-five years of communication science research, and tested against real client and organizational outcomes.

01

The PR 3.0 framework.

The era of public relations we are now operating in — what has changed, what AI-mediated meaning looks like, and what the new architecture of human belief now requires from our profession.

02

The Affective Intelligence framework.

The science of how communication actually changes human state. Why affect — not cognition — is the governing variable of human response. Why this matters more in the AI era, not less.

03

The PRSA-grounded ethics frame.

The six provisions of the PRSA Code of Ethics adapted for AI-mediated work — disclosure, oversight, review, transparency, and the protocols that separate leading practitioners from reckless ones.

04

The anti-slop quality standard.

The language patterns, reasoning structures, and verification steps that keep AI outputs high-fidelity, bias-reduced, and recognizably human — the difference between AI-assisted work and AI-generated slop.

05

Multi-model orchestration.

How to run ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity as a coordinated team where each tool does what it's best at — research, drafting, fact-checking, polish — rather than asking any one tool to do everything.

06

Voice and prompting discipline.

The specific techniques — vocabulary, framing, context-setting — that turn a general-purpose AI into an expert specialist on the work in front of you. The master prompt patterns that compound across time.
